The room was a bit smaller than expected, with a hard bed and no view to enjoy, all for nearly $200. The air conditioning fluctuated from cold to too hot, and the location placed me right by a noisy conference room entrance. The bathroom showed signs of age, with stained tiles and mold in corners.

The room was smaller than anticipated and the bed was quite hard with no view. The air conditioning was inconsistent, and the location near the conference room entrance was noisy. The bathroom was showing signs of age with tile stains and mold.
Service

The service was courteous, professional, and friendly. The staff worked diligently even on weekends.
Location

The location was excellent for our needs, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The hotel's proximity to Newport Hotel and the ferry dock made the stay enjoyable and convenient.
Dining

The dining experience was fantastic with plentiful options and a lovely view. However, breakfast closing just after checkout time was a bit of a letdown.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great location near the water. The spa downstairs is a fantastic way to relax, despite the noise from the nearby Newport hotel. The lack of on-site food facilities is compensated by neighboring options, and the pool and spa provide amazing waterfront views.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms, despite facing the noisy Newport hotel, were clean and comfortable. Power points were accessible and the spa downstairs was a great way to end the day.
Service
9.0
The staff were very obliging and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations for the price we paid. They even reserved parking for us, making our stay even more convenient.
Location
9.0
The location is superb, offering gorgeous water views and being close to top food and beverage options like the Newport Arms and The Newport Bar. A great place to stay for those looking to enjoy the bay views and local attractions.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast, while delicious, had limited options and the timing cut it very close to checkout time. However, the views while dining made for a relaxing morning experience.
Facilities

The hotel lacks on-site food facilities but provides access to a spa, pool, and fantastic waterfront views. The decor gives a Victorian vibe with some room for improvement in the artwork.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. Although the rooms could do with an update and had mold on the roof in the bathroom, I found them clean and comfortable. The lack of food facilities onsite was a downside, but the amazing views of the water from the pool and spa across the road made up for it. Working with power points was a bit of a hassle, but ending the day in the fantastic spa downstairs was a highlight.

Rooms

The rooms, directly over the pool, could do with an update and had mold on the roof in the bathroom. However, they were clean and comfortable.
Service
9.0
The receptionist was below par, not very friendly. On the bright side, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially considering their great location. I appreciated their understanding of how the hotel operates, even though they are not typical city dwellers.
Location
5.0
The building is in a very poor state and needs a massive revamp. Despite the damp smell and lack of ferry details to Scotland Island from the receptionists, the hotel is in a great location next door to the Arms. For what I needed, the price was well priced.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast experience was a bit of a fiasco with old and limp fruit for self-making juice. However, looking out at Pittwater while enjoying breakfast was very relaxing. The staff member was apologetic when we had to remind them of our drinks order.
Facilities
8.0
No food facilities onsite, but the hotel across the road provides everything needed. The hotel offers dry cleaning, housekeeping, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance.
